Long-Term Care

The RNCCT (Rede Nacional de Cuidados Continuados Integrados – National Network of Long-Term Integrated Care) is an instrument created in 2006 (Decree Law no 101/2006) by the Ministries of social affairs. It aims to provide hospitalisation to people with disabilities, especially the elderly, and/or long-term integrated health care along with social care offered at home. This context dictates the emergence of long-term care provided in conjunction with social institutions, as is the case of the Community Centre and the Centro de Saúde da Parede (Health Care Centre of Parede).

In a period from Monday to Sunday including Holidays, from 8 am to 5 pm, depending on the needs and availability of the Institution’s means.

What are my obligations?

Collaborate with the work team in accordance with your interests and possibilities, treating them with respect and dignity; provide proof of income annually; pay for the services provided; comply with the Internal Regulations of Home Care Support.

How can I cancel services?

Formally: must be communicated in writing, 30 days in advance. </ P>

However, given the multiplicity of circumstances, you can communicate the cancellation of services in person, by phone or email as soon as possible.
